Practice Description:

For over thirty-five years I have practiced law in Dover, New Hampshire, principally representing individuals needing legal services in a wide range of settings such as those who received personal injury as a result of accidents or defective products, business formations, traffic offenses, people going through divorce, and other life changes such as child custody/support modification issues. I provide office services such as estate planning documentation, deed drafting, and legal consultations. I also represent clients who are criminal defendants, as well as couples participating in identified adoption situations.

I have been licensed since 1989 in Maine and in New Hampshire since 1975. I routinely appear in District and Superior Courts in both states, and I have appealed several matters to the New Hampshire Supreme Court where the law and circumstances warranted such action. I am licensed in both Maine and New Hampshire Federal District Courts, where cases involving federal issues are adjudicated.

The focus which I have maintained is to provide effective, low cost legal representation so that the client can make educated decisions about various matters which concern them and involve interaction with the legal system. I encourage phone calls and e-mails from clients who have questions, and I attempt to anticipate case development and legal costs based on my experiences so as to minimize client surprise and dissatisfaction.

I tend to favor less formal approaches to situations as opposed to litigation in the first instance, and I attempt to be creative so as to help clients achieve their goals.
